Saturday Shopping
Got up way to early - guess my body clock has still not set in. Woke Jeremy up and just bummed around in the morning (watchin cable). We left @ noon - lunch was chicken chilli @ "Chop Chop" .....local chinese noodle parlour. Amazin stuff.
Convent Garden area tubes were effected by the Terrorist attack, hence got down at Embankment. Did my first tourist snap there (standin out of the Phone Booth). Cheesy - but Jeremy insisted.
Took heaps of the neighbourhood - heaps of embassy and high commisions around. Later we reached Covent Garden..........shopping galour.
Covent Garden sits right in the heart London and is the centre for entertainment and leisure activities in the capital. Covent Garden's street entertainers, great restaurants and exciting bars make this the most vibrant area of the city. Theatreland surrounds Covent Garden, and for shoppers (read me) the area can coz serious damage to the wallet. Luckily, i returned unscathed. Evening, cought up with Kelly and Bridget @ Angel - different feelin meeting mates in another city. Went and had some turkish starters, washed down with Turkish beer and later we marched to this joint called "the living room". - Interesteing venue........with piano man and the toilet attendant (aweful experience - hate this pompous........am British, have money).
Travellin back from Angel was an experience - did the double decker, upstairs front row thing - reminded my of childhood joyrides in Bombay on the double decker.........but the dodgy bus driver was definately pushin the limits of power steering. Saw Trafalgore Square, Highbury, Ritz Carlton.
Cought the famous black cab from Sloane square - all in all quiet a touristy day.
